Italian Physics for European Research Infrastructures
Current status of research using neutron and synchrotron radiation probes and potential use of current and future European facilities in a two day workshop.
CNR, in collaboration with INFN and ELETTRA, is organizing this two day workshop to discuss the current status of research using neutron and synchrotron radiation probes and to consult on the potential use of current and future European facilities for research into material science and engineering, soft condensed matter bio-molecular sciences and advanced materials.
The scope is to strategically optimize, reinforce and implement the use and development of Italian research at current and future neutron and synchrotron radiation European facilities, by integrating national RI and fostering the Italian RI innovation potential and human capital. The initiative is intended to foster a public discussion on instrumentation and new projects at current and future neutron and synchrotron radiation sources for applications in science.
The event will bring together the Italian user community as well as International experts and instrument scientists operating at the material engineering facilities currently supported by Italy and working at world leading pulsed and steady neutron and synchrotron radiation sources.
The workshop will be available in real-time streaming thanks to CNR - UIEC.
