A quantum mixture is the ideal system to investigate coupled superfluids, polarons, two-species many-body states, and new quantum states as quantum droplets. In our experiment we produce a double BEC of ⁴¹K and ⁸⁷Rb with tunable interspecies interactions and recently demonstrate the realization of heteronuclear quantum droplet.
