The internal chemical lab has all the best equipment to perform its task, such as hoods for solvents, fridges and an aspirated cabinet, by which it follows the life cycle of each chemical from delivery to final disposal.

Since 1989, the electronics workshop staff have provided technical support to the research groups at LENS. The workshop is equipped to repair and maintain all electronic and electrical equipment within LENS. It has a large stock of electronic components, and provides design and construction expertise for general-purpose and custom electronic devices for experiments, using both discrete and surface-mount technology.
